Center seminar looks at credit processing

Kansas University’s Small Business Development Center is offering a seminar to help business leaders understand the costs of processing credit cards.
The seminar, “Understanding Credit Card Processing Fees,” is set for 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the center, 734 Vt.
Rod Foster, of BancCard, will present the seminar, which will show participants how to read credit statements and comprehend the complexities of accepting credit.
The seminar will review software; computer-based, online and e-commerce operations; deposits; PIN-entered debit vs. swipe transactions; customer service; and other topics.
Participants may bring copies of their credit statements for Foster to review.
Pre-registration is required for the free seminar.
