World Harmony Run visits city club

World Harmony runners made their way to Lawrence on Wednesday afternoon as part of a four-month event that encompasses 48 states and 10,000 miles.

While in town, the team of three visited the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence to help spread their message of harmony and peace.

The runners say each state brings them new motivation.

“The most exciting part is always meeting with the kids, the mayors and the local people,” Youyoudahn Hoppe said.

One month into the journey, the World Harmony Run will continue Friday as the runners leave Lawrence for Oklahoma City.
