End of school year filled with events

The school year is winding down.
Yes, already.
Here is the schedule for the final days of Lawrence public schools and other important events:
• Thursday and Friday — Finals for high school seniors.
• Monday — Baccalaureate service, 7 p.m., Free State High School auditorium, 4700 Overland Drive.
• May 21 — Finals for sophomores and juniors; last day of school for seventh- through ninth-grade students.
• May 22 — Last day of school for Lawrence kindergarten through sixth-grade students; last day of finals for sophomores and juniors; ninth-grade recognition ceremonies.
• May 23 — Bishop Seabury graduation, 9 a.m. at the academy, 4120 Clinton Parkway; public high school graduation rehearsal is 9 a.m. for Free State graduates and 10:30 a.m. for Lawrence High graduates at Allen Fieldhouse.
• May 24 — Veritas Christian School graduation, 2 p.m. at Lawrence Bible Chapel, 505 Monterey Way.
• May 25 — Free State graduation, 1 p.m. Allen Fieldhouse; LHS graduation, 4 p.m. Allen Fieldhouse; Project Graduation for all Lawrence graduating seniors, 10 p.m. May 25 to 3 a.m. May 26, Abe & Jake’s Landing, 8 E. Sixth St.
