Sand Castles Inc., Lawrence, has added behavioral consultant Jeanenne Lester to its staff.
Lester has worked with Lawrence area families for 10 years in the field of developmental disabilities and mental health. Her expertise will provide educational training and in-home support for families in transition or crisis.
Lester will be offering two workshops through Sand Castles' "Summer Kids" program, which is designed for children ages 8-14 and runs from June 9 through July 31. Her workshops will be "Anger Control Masters" and "Social Skill Champions"; "Math Busters" also will be offered.
Sand Castles is an educational and counseling agency providing case management, guardianship and educational services.
