To the editor:

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the comments on page 7B of Sunday's paper, regarding Gitmo. It was absolutely uplifting for me. I am proud to be an American every day, and it is wonderful to read that we DO do the right thing. I know we do the right thing. Thanks for sharing your experience, Dan Simons, and for Brig. Gen. Zanetti's article. And thanks to all the people who work so hard to do it right in the face of unrelenting harassment and fear.
