Dentist to discuss dental advances

Dr. Jim Otten, a Lawrence dentist, will discuss the latest developments in dentistry during a free program Friday at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
The presentation, “The New Age of Dentistry — Facts and Fads,” is set for 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the auditorium at the hospital, 325 Maine.
Otten plans to discuss factors for consumers to consider in making the best possible dental health decisions. The presentation will include an overview of contemporary cosmetics, temporomandibular joint therapy, sleep disorders and implants.
