Dateline: Kansas City, Mo. “Kaun, others honored” Journal-World, May 1, 2008.
What’s the matter with Lawrence? The KU Athletic Department has moved yet another event to Kansas City, Mo. When will KU recognize that things like the Jayhawk Senior & Scholar Athlete Banquet held at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown belong in Lawrence not in KC and particularly not in Missouri (including football games)?
