All Lawrence schools to start on time; classes in Wellsville to begin two hours late Friday
Classes in Wellsville will begin two hours late Friday, according to Superintendent Denise O’Day, because of lack of electricity. Buses will run two hours late.
Lawrence school district spokeswoman Julie Boyle said school will start on schedule in Lawrence Friday. The gymnasium at Langston Hughes Elementary School was damaged by the early Friday morning storm, Boyle said, but that will not affect school. Work is underway to repair the damaged gym.
