Seats open for Older Americans Month breakfast Friday

Trinity In-Home Care, Lawrence, will celebrate the beginning of Older Americans Month with a community breakfast Friday morning at Maceli’s, 1031 N.H.

The breakfast, set to run from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., is free and open to the public. Reservation deadline is 4 p.m. today, and arrangements may be made by calling Kelly Evans, Trinity’s executive director, at 842-3159 or e-mailing kelly@trinityinhomecare.com.

The event will include brief remarks about the accomplishments, community contributions and needs for older adults, Evans said. State Rep. Paul Davis, D-Lawrence, is scheduled to speak.

Trinity In-Home Care is a non-profit agency that provides in-home help with housekeeping, meal preparation, bathing, errands and other daily tasks for seniors and others needing assistance.
