Lawrence Arthritis Walk next month
The annual Lawrence Arthritis Walk will be at 9 a.m. April 26 at the Indoor Aquatics Center, 4700 Overland Drive.
Walkers, swimmers and dogs may participate. A team captain meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. today at Stone Creek restaurant, 3801 W. Sixth St. People who would like to start a team are welcome to attend.
Kate Piper, daughter of Kristin and Chris Piper; Carson Stacey, daughter of Tracy and Greg Stacey; and Lawrence artist Debra Clemente have been named the 2008 Lawrence Arthritis Walk Heroes.
