Visiting nurses seeking volunteers for 3D event

Douglas County Visiting Nurses, Rehabilitation and Hospice Care is looking for volunteers to assist with its 3D program, Dining, Dancing and Donating. Volunteers can set up from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or clear tables and help with other duties from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. April 19.

¢ Mother to Mother of Douglas County is looking for volunteers to help with the annual Tribute to Mothers fundraiser to distribute order forms at their churches and organizations in April.

Tribute to Mothers is a full-page tribute that appears on Mother’s Day in the Journal-World for individuals to list special women in their lives for $10 per name.

¢ Lawrence Walk MS needs volunteers to help with rest stops, registration and other duties. Volunteers should arrive at Liberty Hall by 8:15 a.m. April 12. Registration begins at 9 a.m., and the walk begins at 10 a.m.
