Kansas International event to address India
A Kansas University faculty member who led a study-abroad trip to India will discuss the program’s experiences during a Kansas International breakfast event at 7:30 a.m. Friday at Alvamar Country Club, 1600 Crossgate Drive.
The presentation, “Business and India: Our Experiences,” will be led by Sanjay Mishra, an associate professor of business at KU. Other participants – Ken Chang, Thomas Gifford, Abby Pringle and Jesse Song – also are scheduled to be available during the discussion.
Mishra was part of the 20-person team that went to India over winter break to observe the growing economy in action. Among topics that Mishra and others intend to discuss during the Kansas International meeting: visible growth; the role of women and families in Indian businesses; a young and positive India; and Indian hospitality and service.
