US District Court has new clerk

Timothy M. O’Brien has been selected as the new Clerk of Court for the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas.

O’Brien replaces Ralph L. DeLoach, who served as Clerk of Court for more than 22 years before becoming an administrative adviser to the Indonesia Control of Corruption Project for BlueLaw LLP in Jakarta, Indonesia.

O’Brien holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and personnel administration and a law degree from Kansas University.

He has been a partner at Shook, Hardy and Bacon in the Business Litigation Section since 1991.

O’Brien will take his post April 1.
