Douglas County Connection, a local networking organization, announces the election of three officers to its Leadership Team.

Michael C. Stuart, chiropractor and owner of Stuart Chiropractic Health Center, is vice president; Kathy Bechtel, owner of The Finishing Touch painting and faux finishing, is membership chair; and Jeff Huffman, owner of Jeff’s Audio Video, is promotional chair. On the Leadership Team they join Denise Van Sickel, owner of Lawrence Pet Friends, president; and Bryan Culver, who works in wealth management and business development for Peoples Bank, treasurer.

New members are Kassie Edwards, a certified massage therapist, and Diane Yadrich, hair stylist for Statements Salon.

Douglas County Connect promotes members’ businesses through structured networking by encouraging referrals. Meetings are at 7 a.m. Wednesdays at First Southern Baptist Church, 4300 W. Sixth St.
