The largest real estate agency in Lawrence now has a new, yet familiar, president and managing broker.
Dennis Snodgrass, longtime McGrew vice president and sales manager, has been promoted to president and managing broker. He takes over for Gary Nuzum, who becomes the agency's senior vice president for new construction.
Mike McGrew, the agency's chairman and chief executive officer, announced the changes Thursday, lauding Snodgrass for his integrity and experience.
Nuzum, who received the Distinguished Service Award in January from the Lawrence Board of Realtors, said that the agency's operations would be in good hands.
"Dennis has been a tremendous asset to our company and to me personally," Nuzum said. "I have all the confidence in the world in Dennis and look forward to working with him in his new role."
Nuzum, who had been McGrew's president and managing broker for more than 20 years, remains a member of the agency's management team. Also on the team are McGrew, Snodgrass and the two former owners of Lawrence Realty Associates, which merged with McGrew on Nov. 31: John Bush, vice president for marketing and acquisitions, and Pat Flavin, vice president for auctions.
