LHS boys upset top-seeded Manhattan in 6A state quarterfinals, 65-56

EMPORIA - Junior guard Dorian Green continued his hot play of late, scoring a game-high 32 points as eighth-seeded Lawrence High upset top-seeded Manhattan Thursday night in the Class 6A quarterfinals in Emporia.

Lawrence (12-11) now faces the winner of the 8:15 contest between No. 4 Wichita Heights (16-6) and No. 5 Blue Valley West (15-7) Friday at 8:15 p.m. in White Auditorium. BV West is the reigning 6A state champs.

No, it's seeded from 21. Sports. a. to arrange (the drawings for positions in a tournament) so that ranking players or teams will not meet in the early rounds of play. b. to distribute (ranking players or teams) in this manner.
