Horse show to benefit CLO Midnight Farms

The fifth annual Kansas Summer Classic Horse Show is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds.

The horse show benefits Community Living Opportunities Inc., which provides community services for about 400 children and adults with developmental disabilities. CLO is developing Midnight Farms to offer an additional lifestyle option for its clients with residential, equestrian, recreational and work-related opportunities.

The area is a 40-acre farm five miles south of Eudora.

The horse show runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the fairgrounds, 2110 Harper St. Admission is $3 per person, and children 10 and younger are free. The entry fee for a horse is $10.
