Sebelius vetoes

To the editor:

Just wanted to comment on recent narratives about Gov. Kathleen Sebelius’ decision to veto anything having to do with coal-fired power plants. She ignored the substantial majority of legislators who represent a substantial majority of Kansas citizens. Her self-centered actions have cost the state of Kansas and its citizens billions of dollars and hundreds of jobs.

She has created an environment that is openly hostile to business and growth. Her arrogant stance on this issue demonstrates a startling willingness to ignore Kansans. Not only does she not care much about what goes in your wallet, she has no problem lightening your wallets by supporting casinos and expensive wind energy. In direct and indirect ways, she has demonstrated a willingness to spend your money and little willingness to help you make money. So, I wonder, whose future is she protecting?
