Home Instead office under new ownership
The Topeka office of Home Instead Senior Care, whose professional caregivers provide services to seniors in Douglas and Shawnee counties, recently was purchased by Gail Shaheed.
The company provides nonmedical, in-home services to seniors, helping them age in place and remain independent.
Shaheed’s operation is among 800 independently owned and operated franchises worldwide. They are part of the network established by Home Instead Inc., founded in 1964 in Omaha, Neb., where the company has its headquarters.
Caregivers – all screened, bonded, trained and insured – help clients with meal preparation, laundry, shopping, light housekeeping, driving, incidental transportation and other daily needs.
