Elizabeth Cordova, an agent for Farm Bureau Financial Services in Lawrence, recently received designation as a chartered financial consultant.

To earn the ChFC designation, Cordova completed courses covering a range of financial topics, including financial planning; wealth accumulation and estate planning; income taxation; life and health insurance; business taxation; and planning, investments and retirement planning.

Cordova, of Lawrence, also is a chartered life underwriter and is an active member in the local chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
