CornerBank officer joins trust board
Barbara J. Braa, a trust officer with CornerBank, Lawrence, has been elected to serve as a 2010 Term Director with the Kansas Bankers Association Trust Division Board.
Board members work on behalf of the association’s trust members, keeping them up to date on developments in the industry, including those involving legislation, regulation, investment strategies and technology.
The board also serves as host for the association’s annual Kansas Trust Conference, conducted each October. The board also works on the annual MoKan Trust and Financial Services Conference, a May event accommodating trust officers from multiple states.
Braa has more than 20 years of investment experience and has lived in the Lawrence community for 30 years.
