The Douglas County Register of Deeds office will close from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today so staff members can attend funeral services for a former co-worker.

The office in the courthouse, 1100 Mass., will be open from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The office will resume regular hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.
