Lawrence Holidome will have its Grand Re-Opening Celebration from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 6 in the Convention Center, 200 McDonald Drive.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will start at 4 p.m. and hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be provided throughout the event. The hotel came under new ownership in February 2006 and many of its renovations will be showcased at the celebration.

The Holidome also will celebrate receiving the Certificate of Achievement award for Most Improved Overall Satisfaction Score for the region in 2008 from the InterContinental Hotels Group.
