Lawrence bankers attend forum

Scott Rock and Aaron Urban of Central National Bank, Lawrence, recently attended the inaugural Millennial Financial Services Forum at the Harmonie Club in New York City.

The forum was designed to meet the needs of marketing professionals through panel discussions. Rock was selected to speak at a panel discussion on building and maintaining loyalty. He talked about the bank’s approach to attracting young, Generation Y customers through online banking, mobile banking and a blog site. He also talked about the bank’s Music for Life program.

Urban, who was named this week as a new branch manager, serves on a subcommittee that focuses on Generation Y customers and also heads the Music for Life program, which partners the bank with local musicians.
