Quarterly gallery walk is tonight downtown

Six galleries will participate in tonight's Downtown Lawrence Gallery Walk, held every three months. The walk is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Those participating include:

¢ Silver Works and More, 715 Mass., featuring Lisa Crowder and Joanna Gollberg (jewelry), and Kelly O'Briant and Bob Pool (ceramics).

¢ 6 Gallery, 716 1/2 Mass., featuring a group show called "Horses."

¢ Signs of Life Gallery, 722 Mass., featuring photography by Daniel Coburn.

¢ Diane's Artisan Gallery, 801 1/2 Mass., featuring jewelry by Jayne Redman.

¢ Phoenix Gallery, 919 Mass., featuring sculpture by Vicki Vespestad.

¢ Lawrence Arts Center, 940 N.H., featuring "Vernacular: New Work by Jennifer Holt and Brian Stuparyk" and the Lawrence Arts Center Faculty Exhibition.

At least they're trying to have a regular event to create more interest in local and regional artists! And some of the art is quite good!
