A Lawrence man was arrested Friday morning on suspicion of operating under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident and driving while suspended.

Keith Thomas Garcia, 26, of Lawrence, was arrested after police were called to 609 New Hampshire around 1:19 a.m. Friday after a driver struck another car in the parking lot of the Lawrence Journal-World.

The driver then left the scene.

Kim Murphree, spokeswoman for Lawrence Police Department, said one person was treated for a head injury as a result of the accident.

Garcia was later arrested by police.
