Indoor aquatic center to close Aug. 2 for maintenance
The Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Drive, will be closed Aug. 2 through 17 for maintenance, the city announced Friday.
During this time, the pools will be drained and maintenance will occur that cannot be done during regular operating times, a press release said. The Outdoor Aquatic Center will retain regular hours.
The indoor center will reopen with regular fall hours Aug. 18.
