The Kansas Land Trust recently hired Jason Fizell as its new executive director and chief operating officer. Fizell oversees the advancement of land conservation statewide.
The trust is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving Kansas' ecological and agricultural heritage. The organization, founded in 1990, is also dedicated to preservation and land-use issues pertaining to the Kansas River watershed.
