Software, IT leader to address luncheon
Miriam Ubben, president of the Software and Information Technology Association of Kansas, is scheduled to be the featured speaker for a luncheon organized by the Lawrence Technology Association.
The luncheon is set for 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Pachamama’s, 800 N.H.
Cost is $10 for Lawrence Technology Association members and $19 for guests.
Ubben’s nonprofit organization was created earlier this year by the Kansas Technology Enterprise Corp.
Among its goals are to boost the number of students choosing software and information technology as a career, retain Kansas’ computer science and engineering graduates and recruit out-of-state talent.
To register for the luncheon, contact Kerri Johnson at 832-2824 or events@lawrencetech.org.
