LMH employee receives scholarship
The Kansas Hospital Education and Research Foundation will present Carol Gaumer, an employee at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, with its 2008 Scholarship in the amount of $1,000.
The KHERF Board offers competitive scholarships to Kansas hospital workers who are seeking higher education to improve their ability to provide excellent health care.
Gaumer, a project manager in the information technology department, has worked at LMH for five years and will be using the scholarship to help pay for classes at Kansas University Medical Center.
Gaumer will be honored for winning the scholarship at the Kansas Hospital Association Annual Convention, Nov. 13-14 in Overland Park.
