Mike Strauss is a member of the Orange Bowl champion Jayhawk football team, but the average Kansas fan probably has no idea who he is. As the sports information director of Mark Mangino’s staff, Strauss is stuck dealing with reporters on a daily basis. That said, this hard-working KU staffer is a champion in his own right.
