KTEC is launching ‘Come Home to Kansas’

The Kansas Technology Enterprise Corporation last week launched “Come Home to Kansas,” an initiative aiming to recruit bioscience and information-technology professionals and investors to Kansas.

Partners in this project include Kansas Department of Commerce, Kansas Bioscience Authority, Kansas Bioscience Organization and the KTEC Pipeline program.

The initiative seeks to recruit professionals, graduates and investors with ties to the state along with nonresidents who have never lived in Kansas but are looking for “home.”

The initiative offers a Web site – www.comehometokansas.com – that aggregates the thousands of current technical job openings in the state. The site also includes testimonials from business leaders and entrepreneurs, plus cost-of-living data and details about tech-based economic development resources.
