Emprise Bank president to retire next week

Dave Adams, president of Emprise Bank in Lawrence, is retiring from his leadership post at the end of the month, the bank announced Friday.

Adams has been president for the past 12 years and will continue as a community relations ambassador for the bank upon his retirement. Cindy Yulich, the bank’s commercial manager, will succeed Adams as president.

“We will miss the day-to-day contribution of Dave to our organization,” said Yulich, who has worked at Emprise for 16 years. “He has been an integral part of the growth of Emprise in Lawrence.”

During his tenure at Emprise, Adams oversaw construction of the bank’s Wakarusa location and led growth in bank assets.

The Emprise system, with more than $1 billion in assets, has nearly 500 employees working in 41 locations throughout the state.
