Douglas County residents are invited to a “kickoff rally” for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Douglas County on Jan. 31 at Free State High School, 4700 Overland Drive.

New team captains will meet from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. and returning team captains will meet from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The celebration is open to anyone who wants to learn more about the Relay For Life and how to get involved.
