Campaign talk

To the editor:

As the 2008 presidential caucuses, primaries and debates become more heated, the candidates are becoming more emotional, and the contests are less predictable.

Some of the more perplexing thoughts within my already overloaded brain include the following: (1) Are Sen. Hillary Clinton’s tears for real? (2) Is Sen. John McCain as tough as his talk? (3) Are Gov. Mike Huckabee’s one-liners ad lib?

While I know little about “presidential politics,” I do know that all of the above remind me of a line out of my favorite movie: “A lot of people without brains are doing an awfully lot of talking.”
