A school bus carrying 20 West Junior High students backed into another vehicle this morning near Sixth Street and Monterey Way, but no injuries were reported.

Julie Boyle, a Lawrence school district spokeswoman, said the First Student bus driver moved the bus in reverse to allow a semitrailer turn a corner. The bus then backed into the third vehicle.

No one was hurt, and the vehicles were not damaged, Boyle said.
