Terracon Consultants Inc., a national consulting engineering firm with corporate headquarters in Olathe, has announced that Kevin Langwell, Lawrence, has been promoted to senior vice president for client development.

Langwell, a senior principal with the firm, also has become a member of the company’s Operations Committee, which is responsible for operating policy decisions.

Langwell is a graduate of Providence College, and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Baker University.

Terracon is an employee-owned company that provides geotechnical, environmental, construction materials and facilities engineering services from 98 offices nationwide. Last year the firm had revenues of $335 million.
