Meeting set for Peace Corps opportunities
Kansas University will host a series of events about volunteer opportunities with the Peace Corps.
An informational meeting is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Jan. 18 in the Pine Room at the Kansas Union.
From 10 a.m. to noon Jan. 30, KU Peace Corps representative Heather Sutter and Denver regional recruiter Andrew Merkin will be host to a workshop in the International Room at the Kansas Union. Also Jan. 30, Peace Corps volunteer Zachary Cooper will speak from noon to 1 p.m. in the International Room at the Kansas Union about his experiences.
Volunteers from Peace Corps’ Teach for America and AmeriCorps will take part in a panel discussion from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Jan. 31 in the Kansas Room in the Kansas Union.
