Kansas Big Brothers and Big Sisters is halfway through its 2008 Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraiser and is still accepting teams for the remaining two events.

The fundraiser is the organization’s largest to help at-risk youth in the community by pairing them with volunteer mentors.

To participate, bowlers must raise $125 in pledges. Visit www.kansasbigs.org to register a team and obtain pledges, or call 888-KS4-BIGS. Teams receive free bowling, pizza, drinks and prizes.

The final two events are at 9:30 p.m. today and 6 p.m. Saturday at Royal Crest Lanes, 933 Iowa.
