Apple Users’ Group to ‘set iPods free’

The Lawrence Apple Users’ Group 2.0 is rebooting its February meeting, “Set Your iPod Free,” for 7 p.m. March 5 in the community room at Signs of Life Bookstore, 722 Mass.

The group’s previously scheduled meeting had been canceled because of a winter storm.

The meeting will focus on things people can do with iPods, aside from the typical playing of music. Among the features to be discussed: backing up a computer, handling presentations and recording notes.

Meetings are free, and questions are welcome, even if they are not addressing the subject scheduled for discussion.
