Roy’s back
To the editor:
I was relieved to finally see Roy Williams on Saturday’s superb video board show at Allen Fieldhouse. His image has been conspicuously absent all these years, and it’s a shame. He did a lot for KU, and we loved him for it.
Refusing to include him in the videos week after week reminds me of the family photos of the wife and kids with the jagged edge showing where Dad’s face has been torn off. We may never forgive him for leaving, but it’s not fair to the kids to pretend he was never there. Thanks for putting him back in – for the kids.
