The Dole Institute of Politics announced its upcoming study group, “Gender, Race and Religion in Politics.”

The study group will feature seven speakers, one a week, beginning Tuesday .

The public is invited to attend the first study group, which begins at 3 p.m. at the Dole Institute of Politics, 2350 Petefish Drive.

Tuesday’s speaker is Nicole McCleskey, a partner with Public Opinion Strategies, one of the leading national political and public affairs firms, best known for its polling expertise. Clients include 56 members of the U.S. House of Representatives, 20 members of the U.S. Senate and nine governors. McCleskey will discuss recent polling and what it tells us about the public’s perception of candidates’ gender, race and religion.
