Treasurer’s office satellite now open
Baldwin City ? The Douglas County Treasurer’s Office will have a ribbon-cutting today to mark the opening this week of its branch office in Baldwin City.
The ribbon-cutting will be at 3:30 p.m. The new office opened for business on Monday in the Baldwin City Market, 112 E. Eighth St. It is sharing space used by Baldwin State Bank.
The office will be open during the second week of each month, Treasurer Paula Gilchrist said. Its hours will be from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and noon to 4 p.m.
