Jack Caywood, Free State
Junior wrestler
What he did: Caywood was one of the lone bright spots for the Free State wrestling squad at last weekend's Sunflower League meet in Olathe. After falling in his first match of the day, Caywood bounced back to finish fifth in the 140-pound weight class.
Brian Cain, Lawrence High
Junior wrestler
What he did: Cain was one of five LHS wrestlers to earn a medal at the Sunflower League meet, finishing third in the 160-pound weight class. Despite falling in his semifinal match, Cain roared back to finish with a team-best 4-1 record in total matches.
