Young professionals are invited to a luncheon meeting to hear from experts about commercial/consumer lending, insurance, financial planning and mortgages.

“Managing Your Finances: A Young Professionals Guide,” set for 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 13, is being organized by the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals Network. The luncheon will be at the Lied Center, 1600 Stewart Drive.

Area business leaders will conduct a panel discussion and take questions from the audience.

Cost is $10. Reservations are required, and may be made through www.lawrencechamber.com or by calling 865-4411. Deadline is Monday.

The network is open to professionals ranging in age from 21 to about 40 who are interested in expanding their community leadership, strengthening professional relationships and socializing with other young professionals. Chamber membership is not a requirement for participating in network events.
