Tireless workers
To the editor:
I’m writing this letter to say “thanks” to the many tireless workers who make our lives so much easier. It’s especially evident in the extreme weather, when our trash is always picked up, our mail delivered, our meters read, our streets cleared and repaired, our children picked up and driven to schools by faithful bus drivers, and public transportation carries people to their destinations.
I’m sure others join me in wanting to show their appreciation for making Lawrence a fine place to live.
