Jerry Jennings has added to his GCO Flooring Outlet operation by adding brands and giving the place a new name.

Jennings recently launched Floor Trader, which builds on the GCO brand while adding other products to serve all aspects of the local flooring market, Jennings said: homeowners, do-it-yourselfers, builders, contractors, property managers, designers and remodelers.

Floor Trader has its showroom at 3000 Iowa St., which had been home to GCO Flooring Outlet, a business that opened in 1994. Jennings said he had formed an alliance with CCA Global, which operates more than 3,600 stores in North America.

Floor Trader offers carpet, hardwood, laminate flooring, no-wax vinyl, ceramic and porcelain floor tile. The store is managed by Trenda Reschke.
