City Commission meeting canceled
Lawrence city commissioners have canceled their weekly meeting scheduled for Tuesday.
Commissioners canceled the meeting because of the Christmas holidays. The commission will next meet at 9 a.m. on Dec. 30 for a meeting that primarily will be to pay bills before the end of the year.
Commissioners will resume with their normal meeting schedule — 6:35 p.m. on Tuesdays — on Jan. 6.
