Chancellor pick
To the editor:
Note to Kansas University chancellor search committee: Contact Professor Mike Hoeflich and offer him the job (“Next chancellor should have KU ties,” Journal-World, Dec. 11). Besides being a gifted writer, he knows the issues and has plenty of experience. He has a reputation of being both personable and reasonable, but most important of all, he really cares about KU. In unorthodox times, it’s OK to make a common-sense choice.
