— A 58-year-old Ottawa man was flown to a Kansas City area hospital by a helicopter ambulance Monday morning after a rollover wreck east of Baldwin City on Kansas Highway 33.

Ronnie D. Prince, 58, was flown to Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., with disabling injuries.

According to a Kansas Highway Patrol report, Prince was driving a flatbed pickup truck north at 10:48 a.m. on Kansas Highway 33 about a half-mile south of U.S. Highway 56, and the vehicle left the road.

He over-corrected the steering wheel, and the vehicle entered the west ditch and rolled. It came to rest on its top. Prince was not wearing a seat belt, according to the accident report.
